Software Developer• october 2015-january 2016

It was an intensive program with Barclays Bank Of Kenya. The bank paired the developers in a teams of 2 and they gave each team a different problem statement. In my team we were to work with investment clubs. We did user research, design prototypes and build a solution obeying agile development principles. We later pitched to CEO, Jeremy Awori.

Tech 4 Tax Justice, Oxfam Hackathon.

Software Developer • 2 & 3 February 2016

The hackathon was about tax justice in nairobi, wajir and Turkana counties. My team focused on Turkana market traders, we came up with a solution that digitized the tax collection process and got the citizens more involved and aware about the county budget, tax allocation and expenditure. WE WERE 2ND RUNNNERS UP.

The hackathon was about using Fabric twitter api to create a digital solution that will improve the nairobi city life. My team focused on the county goverment officials, we came up with a great idea that will pull data from twitter to advertise county job openings and budget and expenditure, that way reducing unemployment.
